Installation Guide for Windows, macOS & Linux
Windows 10 & 11 (64-bit) Installation
CheapCrawler is distributed as a standalone 64-bit installer (CheapCrawler-Setup-2.4.0-x64.exe).
Bypassing Windows SmartScreen on first release:
1. When launching the installer, Windows may show "Windows protected your PC".
2. Click on the "More info" hyperlink under the warning text.
3. Click the "Run anyway" button in the bottom right corner.
4. The setup wizard will install CheapCrawler directly into your user profile with no administrator rights required.
macOS (Apple Silicon M1-M4 & Intel) Installation
Open the downloaded .dmg file and drag the CheapCrawler icon into your Applications folder.
Handling Apple Gatekeeper:
1. If macOS prompts that the developer cannot be verified, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security.
2. Scroll to the Security header and click "Open Anyway".
3. Alternatively, open Terminal and execute: xattr -cr /Applications/CheapCrawler.app
Linux (AppImage & Ubuntu/Debian .deb)
For Universal AppImage, mark the binary executable and run:
